⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great experience working with Ratehub. Danielle and Jessica helped us from start to finish. Our first mortgage application was unfortunately denied, which was stressful, but they didn’t give up on us. They took the time to explain our options, helped us restructure everything, and guided us through a second application that was ultimately approved. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and persistence made a huge difference, and we wouldn’t have been able to close on our house without their support. We’re incredibly grateful for their help and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated mortgage broker.

I shopped around to find the best rate and the best staff. Danny Soeur was very aproachable, took the time to explain the pros and cons of various options on the table, and was able to get me the best rate of all the agents I contacted. At the end, my ultimate appreciation is that he made me feel like I was his most important client. He answered all my questions and called me back everythime we needed to talk. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with him and will do again when renewal time comes up. I strongly recommend.

Wonderful experience. I had someone named Jeroen helping us with a renewal. We didn't like the rates our current lender was providing and reached out to find better ones. Jeroen was very informative and gave us all the details necessary in order to help us select the best scenario for us. **update : after posting this review, ratehub reached out via rep Tawer Daniel who, after reviewing my file, offered his apologies and some compensation for the inconveniences experienced during my interactions with ratehub. he assured these issues, though isolated, do happen, but that proactive communication is one of their core goals and they will continue to strive to do better. I was able to lock in a great 5 year rate, though canwise/rate hub was not my ally in the process. Ratehub/canwise state one of their service goals to strive for is ‘proactive communication’. During the paperwork process (after locking in a rate but before signing anything final), the rep assigned to my file ended his employment with the brokerage for one reason or another. I was obviously not aware, and called for nearly 3 weeks leaving multiple messages per week requesting any sort of callback or direction. Finally I received correspondence from my new rep who updated me on what had happened. This rep caught me up over 2 days before ghosting me as well for another 2 weeks. I honestly thought I’d enrolled into some sort of mortgage scam. Finally, within the final week before the deadline to start the new mortgage, my new rep advised me several documents I ‘had not submitted’ would be required before being able to proceed. Over multiple of these calls in that last week, I was required to reference emails where I had indeed already submitted the requested paperwork, but my rep had either ‘not seen it’ or, after inspection, an obscure issue would come up with it requiring resubmission. No answer could be given for why these issues hadn’t been brought up (or ‘communicated proactively’) when asked, only that it needed to be done. My mortgage was eventually completed, though not without much anxiety and headache. I am thankful for the rate I was able to grab (3.85), but I wouldn’t say ratehub/canwise did a single thing to earn my loyalty in the process. If given a better or equal rate somewhere else, I’d have taken it.

Overall, a great experience with Ratehub. My first advisor was terrible, unresponsive and ended up being fired. Ratehub quickly reassigned Priyavadan to me, who was very responsive and moved the process along quickly. Everything was handled online, or by phone and no issues. I was previously with Nesto and found I had to be on them to keep the process going - so I was glad to see a company like Ratehub have better systems in place. Onboarding with Canwise was also excellent - had a phone call with a lovely agent who walked me through the portal and answered all the questions I had.

Had a great experience working with Hitesh, who promptly addressed our application, which was closing in 3 weeks, and has most of the mortgage application-related details sorted out by the end of the 2nd week. Also, the rate he sought out was more aggressive than the rates from other mortgage brokers we interacted with (vs one recommended by our real estate agent and also vs Pine from Wealthsimple). Additionally, he was able to accommodate our request to get a readvanceable mortgage. 10/10 would work with RateHub again next time if they can maintain this level of professional and expedient services.

I got the best rate available, way better than the big 5 banks, and when one lender started asking too many questions, my broker went with another lender who came through without much hassle at all! I had a great experience with Vladimir Stanev. He helped me get the best mortgage rate - very competitive rate at the moment I was looking for my mortgage renewal, and he also tried hard to resolve issues from the lender which I have switched with. (The mortgage rate was good in fact, but switching process wasn't smooth in the end.) I wouldn't choose the current lender again, but definitely contact him, Ratehub again when my mortgage renewal comes later.

Dealt with Jeroen, he was very friendly and had quick turn around time for replies. Answered all my questions and was really helpful. He got the ball rolling quickly. Only thing to be mindful of, is that the banking system takes forever so it takes a while to get a refinance going. Was about a month and a half of waiting start to finish but that isn’t ratehubs fault.. Would recommend him to others.
